I tend to lean toward great components but I’m certainly not limited to those games. Games with minis tend to capture my attention but I also like games with a theme as well; I’m not a big abstract gamer fan. I’m generally open to playing just about any game although with card games I like to see cards that offer multiple options like those in Race for the Galaxy, Glory to Rome, Warhammer Invasion or Dominion…not much for set collection or trick taking so to speak. There are some lighter games in my collection that I play with non-gamers however I am finding that those are not as fun for me…still I enjoy the group interaction that games offer.
