We just played Shadows of Brimstone last night, and I think we’ll play another round tomorrow. I’m hoping for some other gaming today.

We intended to play Fury of Dracula, Sentinels of the Multiverse (and expansions), and possibly Chrononauts/Early American Chrononauts, Contagion, and Lords of Waterdeep. However the holiday break was pretty much filled with Sentinels of the Multiverse. I think we found the sweet spot in terms of hero characters – it doesn’t scale well to 2 characters, but 4 worked really well.

I’ve played through Contagion a few times, but each time was with new players. I’m hoping we all learn really quickly to make it more challenging. But it’s still fun.

This week we tried the Adventurers: Temple of Chac. The first play-through was quick and fun, but I don’t think we’re interested enough to purchase it.

We also played Dominion with some new friends, and hope to play another deck building game that I can’t recall the name of at the moment (superheroes team up to battle super villains…)

We played Battlestar Galactica with a number of expansions last night. I hope to play my new Pandemic expansion (In the Lab) Sunday.

We played Boss Monster and Small World with three expansions.

We’ll be playing the Smash-up Expansion.

Saturday (International Tabletop Day): Zombicide, Elder Sign, Pandemic.

Sunday: Zombicide

Less than a day to go for Zombicide. The latest optional items had me dancing with glee.

I forgot that we also played BSG with the Pegasus expansion. The Cylon in our midst played it really close to the vest, then killed our Cag/Admiral the first time she wasn’t out in space destroying incoming attackers. After an emergency jump by our newly promoted Cag/Admiral Cain, he executed Cain as well. He also managed to get three Cylons on the boarding track, which I don’t usually see occur.

Question: Does the new gold/silver/bronze heart count as x number of individual hearts? In other words, can I spend 500 gold at once to grant 25 hearts, or does it only award one single “gold” heart?

Disregard the bug report. I think I’ve seen in the quests area that you get plays at the rate of something plus one for every two levels, so it’ll go up again at level 6. Can’t get there to check on my mobile device.

I know there’s a lot of work still being put into this site, so this is a future request -to please make a mobile-friendly version of the site.

Minor bug report (I’ll test again tomorrow)

I just achieved gamer level 5 today, and my games played limit is still 4 per day.

@Coltsfan76, Andy, Lozmoid – Agreed, a) we should abstain from voting non-English reviews/tips unless we’re able to read them to judge fairly, and b) it would be great if this site would include some sort of translation option. We need to encourage gamers of all types and geographic locations.

I just played the new version this evening. Having not seen the earlier version, I can’t compare them fairly, but the new version has a very clean look. The game was a pain to learn but fun once it started to click. Could really use a tutorial mode.

Please add the ability to remove or edit your rating of a game. This would help in two ways: 1) can remove an accidental rating for a game that you haven’t actually played yet (for example, the expansion of the game when you thought you were on the base set) and 2) Sometimes games that do not instantly grab your interest/attention or that are played “with the wrong group” may be scored too low initially but improve after another play or two, or may be scored artificially high when they are your FAVORITE GAME EVAR (of the week/month/year).
