This weekend we’ll be getting Sentinels of the Multiverse, Mage Knight and Star Wars: The Card Game on our table. Should be full of great times and epic gaming moments!
with kids: Survive: Escape from Atlantis, Small World, Coloretto, and Summoner Wars from the master box. Son has been asking to try the old Reiner Knizia LOTR game, which i’ve never played but has been in the house a while.
i might get the wife and neighbors for one adult round of Catan or Powergrid.
Played a game of Zombicide last night, and of course lots of Summoner Wars on IOS. Peter Wocken, I think I recognize you from the podcast. I’m a Doug, and you can feel free to send a friend request thought Gamecenter (akden1). I’m always up for a game.
I also hope to get in games of Gears of War: the Boardgame, Death Angel, and possibly even Defenders of the Realm.
Just got my Sedition Wars: Battle for Alabaster set a few days ago, so I’ll probably try to get started assembling some minis…
More Summoner Wars on the iOS. With the full bundle only $.99 this weekend, I’m hoping more friends snag it… I need to win a few games to help my average 🙂
A Saturday full of mostly Euro-games awaits:
Power Grid
Agricola
Urbania
Four Taverns
Monuments
Puerto Rico
Archipelago
Dominion
Settlers of Catan (not sure which version)
We discovered the joys of Agricola and have been seeing a lot of that so I’m sure that will continue. We also opened up King of Tokyo for the first time last week and it was a hit so I’m guessing that will get to the table as well.
Tonight is weekly game night. Im bringing “Legendary” and “Smash Up”. Wanna see if “Smash Up” is as big of a hit with the group as it is with the family. Hopefully will have time to play both games! My daughter wants to play Smash Up and Wrath of Ashardalon this weekend.
Monthly game night! Expecting 30+ friends over for lots of games, including a “new” take on Werewolfe (The Thing or Infection). Likely more Agricola, Seasons, Covert Actions, and Endeavor and a fair share of cooperative games (Flash Point, Shadows Over Camelot, etc). And maybe some real Mahjong.
A friend gave me Village and Tsuro as late Christmas gifts this week, so I’m looking forward to breaking those out tonight (packages will be arriving in the mail today!!) and probably playing a few games over Saturday and Sunday as well.
solo: Summoner Wars and Carcassone on iPad
