There is a new sci-fi card game on Kickstarter. It looks awesome. The company is serious and this gives me confidence this game is going to be great. I backed it. http://kck.st/12dCceE
@Bill I would have loved to support 12 Realms as it does look great, but the only option that appealed to me (as far as KS-unique) is the pre-painted option which I missed a long time ago. Now it’s $65 or $80 for the game without much more than what we can all get from our local store next year. I’m still looking forward to it, but holding back.
@Kat Looks like Days of Wonder was listening to you and they dropped Small World until March when they have it more organized.
NOW I see Hegemonic’s been added. Very good.
Small World 2 is cancelled at this point. Mostly for being a convoluted mess and trying to accommodate different platforms and mixing in the physical board game! I hope the project gets better organized and reposted. I’d hate to lose the chance to get physical game pieces but don’t want to spend too much money to support an online game I don’t own.
I think I may back the Red Devils KS for Sergeants Miniatures game. But only at the lower level to get the base set and maybe Custom Sgt with my name. I love the game and want to support it to help it grow. It’s miniatures, so it’s pretty expensive, but I think the value in this KS is going to be good with a bunch of extras. But it will likely be my only KS this year, and I will likely cut back on boardgames as well for the year as I got a lot over the last few months that should keep me busy for a long time.
Compunded seems a great way to get kids interested in chemistry. If I had children I would definitely buy it.
Of all the interesting titles on KS right now, Hegemonic seems one of the most promising. Too bad it’s not on here. (Was it mentioned in an earlier KS thread maybe?)
I’ve backed 12 Realms, got in on the 120 dollar level fully painted option before it sold out (they added a few more at 130 dollars, but they sold out as well).
I can’t believe 12 Realms hasn’t gotten more interest and/or exposure. The game was nominated for it’s print and play version, and this one expands on that not only in artwork, but in cleaning up gameplay and adding additional gameplay elements. I love what I’ve seen, I highly recommend anyone interested in fantasy co-ops (and one vs many games) check it out!
I ALSO WISH THERE WAS A SMALL ARTICLE OR AT LEAST A PAGE HERE ABOUT 12 REALMS, This game could REALLY use some more exposure! The art is just amazing, and the sculpts and 3D renderings for the miniatures are outstanding.
@Kaleb Alas, SmallWorld digital is still only in the i-Realm and I anxiously await an HTML5 or Android version to Kick it.
Days of Wonder just added Small World 2 to KS – breaking my self-imposed KS funding drought to only 2 months. :- Still, the deluxe version looks great! (even if very pricey)
Hello Lolapop, you have to look on the right-hand side under the ‘Badges’ buttons etc. From there you can customise your profile. but watch out – it costs you Boardgaming Gold!
How do you get the cool avatars and icons on this site?
Wow, that Super 3D Dungeon Boards game looks amazing!
Thanks for the heads up on Battle for Souls Lolapop! I just checked it out and will pledge a little. I hope they get their full funding, it looks great.
I think I am going to try hard to avoid KS this year unless it is something I really want. Just too much money spent last year and not enough instant gratification causing me to go spend more than I should have!
Now how on Earth could you miss the most interesting game on Kickstarter at the moment? Battle For Souls
