This weekend it’s time to work as a team and save our fellow citizens from burning buildings in Flash Point: Fire Rescue. If we aren’t completely exhausted, we’ll have a space battle between the Rebels and Imperials in Star Wars: X-Wing… should be a great weekend!
What are you playing this weekend?
My kids made me play Munchkin again…
…I’m still recovering.
~ Granny
This past weekend played some heroclix, keyflower, Lords of Waterdeep, Flapjacks and Sasquatches, Heissen Offen and Sewer Pirats.
Friends invited us to their house over the weekend for some board games, asked me to bring a “bunch” of games. I brought about 20 different board games and was told I “need to get some new ones.”
Despite that, we had a bunch of fun playing Dominion, Apples to Apples, Pandemic, and Power Grid.
Sentinels of the Multiverse.
A lot of it
7 wonders and Small World.
Got in several games due to the Easter holiday with the family, including King of Tokyo, Bohnanza, Space Alert, Robo Rally, Farmageddon, and many more.
Played Resistance and Citadels
It being Easter, we had a four day weekend, which was nice. There wasn’t an awful lot of gaming, but we certainly got a bit of play in. This included Family Fluxx, Empire Express, Love Letter, Game of Thrones Card Game, Loot, Sleeping Queens, and Talisman. Actually, now I write that down it looks a pretty good batch!
So I just came home from my game group. Played Hacienda and Pillars of the Earth. That was kind of fun!
Saturday (International Tabletop Day): Zombicide, Elder Sign, Pandemic.
Sunday: Zombicide
Gaurds, Gaurds, Lords of Waterdeep, Elder Signs, a little break for some zombie flux and then on to Arkum Horror until the sun came up!
This past weekend, my wife and I played Fortune and Glory. My wife and I were working cooperatively to locate and retrieve as many artifacts as we could to prevent them from falling into the hands of the vile Nazi organization. As the game progressed, we were hard pressed as the Nazis began spreading their dominance around the world by building secret bases and transporting their troops to different strategic locations using their zeppelin. Two of their top ranking officers were also on the hunt for various artifacts of great power that would perhaps help them in their war effort.
For my wife and I it was a long and arduous task of trying to prevent the Germans from accomplishing their goal, but alas we were unsuccessful and now we fear the hope of all humanity is in jeopardy.
Smallworld Underground, King of Tokyo, Cards Against Humanity, Castle Panic
Wish it would have been more.
Friday: Vanuatu and Love Letter
Saturday (International TableTop Day): Cable Car (x2), Vanuatu, Fleet, Two Rooms and a Boom (x2), Power Grid w/New Power Plant Deck and Flux Generator, Resistance: Avalon (x3)
Yesterday I made a mini tournament Magic: The Gatering themed guilds of Ravnica.
Too bad there was not time to play Chaos in the Old World which also took. But there will be other opportunities to play.
But the mini tournament was really fun because I used the expansions Planechase and Vanguard.
I went from Selesnya Conclave and managed to stay in first place.
In second place was the Boros Legion and third position in the Azorius Senate.
On the road, we played Kingdom Builder (picked up Nomads), Samurai Sword, Bang, and King of Tokyo. It was my nephews birthday, so we got them a few games… giving the gift of gaming is so rewarding.
Friday: Bloodbowl Team Manager
Lords of waterdeep
Saturday: Magic the Gathering
Sadly the only game I played this weekend is Race for the Galaxy and I say “sadly,” despite the fact that it is an awesome game, because I played it against the computer.
Played Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures and Fleet on Friday. Saturday for TableTop Day I played DC Comics Deck Building Game. Not sure what else will be played today.
Lots of digital Elder Sign, Forbidden Island and I just picked up the Game of Thrones card game (the TV-packaged one) to try out.
