Missed all of these and need to check them out.
Why is acces to Goa limited? Since there is a previous edition we should be able to rate the game and log plays. If there were no prior editions and it was a coming game I could see limiting access. Since this is a reprint this seems very odd. I realize the site is trying to focus on new games and editions but why ignore a prior edition where it exists?
I passed up the chance to purchase Toc Toc Woodman the first time I saw it. I’ve thought about it several times since then. It just looks like so much fun. Must…get…soon.
@Danny
Yah of course it is useful, especially when there are some games with so few reviews.
You could give a “first impressions” review of the game.
@whatawhale
I was the one that submitted Chang Cheng. I have submitted quite a few games, but have yet to write a review as I don’t really get to play most of my games often enough to feel I know them well enough to review. Using Chang Cheng as an example, I read the rules a few years ago and managed to play it once last year. I guess I could write reviews for games with the caveat that I haven’t had a chance to play them much, but would anyone really find that useful?
@Danny
I’m not sure who it was that added Chang Cheng to our games database, but I hope they do a review of it.
I’m really intrigued by the game components.
No love yet for Chang Cheng? It’s an interesting bluffing/area control game, and it has cool little plastic wall pieces. It does have the weirdest shaped “cards” I’ve seen in a game, think tongue depressor and you’ll be close.
I agree that Witch’s Brew and RoadZters are both great too.
As for Goa, I’ll have to give it another shot. I played it back when it first came out (2005?) and really didn’t like it at all, but that could have been the company and not the game… 🙂
Witch’s Brew is one of the best family games ever… love bluffing games. Goa coming back is a boon for those who’ve never played it.
I’m also looking forward to Equilibrion… as Onirim is a great game.
Atlantis Rising just made it on to my wish list shelf :). I’m a sucker for cooperative games, and the unique theme is intriguing.
Goa is a fantastic game, hopefully the reprint will bring in a lot of new players.
RoadZters (and its older brother Bisikle) are great games that I’m surprised haven’t hit it bigger. The fun of the ZBall really can’t be described, you have to try it!
