Classic Games are the games that have (a) been around for a long time and (b) remained popular enough to still be sold in major chain stores. Examples include Chess, Checkers, Scrabble, Battleship, Monopoly, etc. Unfortunately, many people live their lives never aware that there are hundreds of other (and better) games in the universe besides these old classics.
