You are a Dreamwalker lost in a labyrinth filled with ten daunting nightmare’s that are trying to keep you trapped in the dream world forever. The good news… There are eight colorful oneiric doors in which to escape… That is, if you can find them. The trick… You must open all eight doors and escape before times runs out. Time being the actual deck of cards.

It’s a fast-paced game that I would recommend starting off with just the base set until you are familiar with the rules and then adding the expansion packs as desired. The watercolor graphics on the cards are lovely and nicely done. There are lots of colors, and suns, and moons, and keys… And who doesn’t like keys? Keys are the key to help you escape this dream world.

It’s a wonderful little Solitaire game for when you have a few minutes to spare… And if you happen to be alone… and you turn the lights down low… it makes picking those freaky nightmare cards oh so scary!

This game is great for beginners or experienced gamers. It’s easy to learn and super fun to play. I didn’t know what to expect when I opened the box, as it was an impulse buy, but I was surprisingly pleased. It’s a very inexpensive way to have a lot of fun.

The quality of the game is definitely worth the money – Nice thick tiles, quality cards, and sturdy treasures. With my experience so far, the game can take anywhere from twenty to forty minutes to play. I’ve played with two to four players and find that playing with two works best for me and actually appears to have a higher winning rate… for me anyway.

The object of the game is to collect all four treasures, get all players to Fool’s Landing, and lift off before the islands flood and sink. Sounds easy, no? Well, it all comes down to two things. One, the level you decide to tackle. And two, how quickly and frequently the dreaded “Waters Rise!” cards appear.

The abilities of the player cards are equally awesome and randomly picked, each game differs from the next. I have also played this game on my iPad, always letting the AI pick my two players. It keeps the game from getting boring.

A major part of this game is the amazing co-op feature. Oh yeah, and sharing cards, which is something I tend to forget while I’m obsessing about shoring up the islands… My bad. All in all, it’s a fun game for the experienced or the beginner, as a filler or a night of it, and as a solo or group game. If you don’t own it, I’d recommend buying it.
