At the beginning of the game we give 2 character cards to each player. Then everyone have to choose one role to play. Avoids weak characters that can ruin a game.

“Renegade”

As the renegade your job is to pretend to be a vice sheriff. This means not shooting at the sheriff and bluffing a great deal.

“Renegade strategy”

Probably the most difficult role to play since you have to be the last player standing to win. As you play you will learn that this role requires a lot of bluffing pretending to be a deputy, that way you’ll have the deputies and Sheriff on your side while they kill the outlaws, and hopefully themselves too while fighting each other so you can backstab them when the time is right.

“OK WITH TALKING ”

It’s ok to talk and discuss about everything about the game as long as everyone can hear you and you don’t show your cards to anyone because that way you still keep the bluff part of the game.

“An easier chance to win for the Renegade.”

Since the renegade can have a hard time winning after the outlaws are dead, we have a house rule that the renegade has to just kill the sheriff to win once the outlaws are eliminated.

“Player elimination”

This is another game that you will want to avoid if you or your playmates aren’t too keen on player elimination. You may be killed in the game in the early rounds, and the rest of the game can get lengthy. The fix? Check out Bang!: the Dice Game. It’s quicker. Or you can try Samurai Sword. No elimination.
