This weekend we’ll be previewing maverick:muse’s oddball Aeronauts 2: Double the Trouble that’s currently on kickstarter. It will be perfect because it’s 2-player, very portable and we’ll be traveling over the weekend.
What are you playing this weekend?
Hey BG Gang!
Apologies for being out of touch – opening a board game cafe is hard work!
Weekend is off to a good start with a K-deck game of Agricola and hosting a Catan Day Sunday with tons of Catan games (I’m running Settlers of Stone Age & Egypt) in the cafe to raise food/money for the local food bank.
Getting set to crack out my copy of Chainsaw Warrior and give it a run. Then, maybe a couple of solo runs of Dungeon Roll.
Getting ramped up to attend this month’s edition of Baltimore Brews & Boardgames this Tuesday night.
I’ll be teaching Race for the Galaxy. Wish me luck!
On tap for tomorrow with the family:
Machi Koro
Dungeon Command
Sheriff of Nottingham
DC Deck Builder
*IF* I can get a gaming buddy to come over, I will try to get in some X-wing or Terra Mystica.
Finally getting to play Pastiche. Game night with friends so we are going to play Lifeboat and Concept, both for the first time. I’m sure we’ll play some small games in between like; Dead Drop and Lost Legacy.
Nile deLuxor
10 Days in Africa
Modern Art
I hope to keep pushing through Pathfinder ACG: Skull and Shackles. I just got it a week ago, and I’m pretty hooked. I would also love to crack a few recent Kickstarter arrivals that have been collecting dust: The Lord of the Ice Garden and Shipwrights of the North Seas.
Just picked up Lord of the Rings the Card Game from a classified add and looking forward to giving it a try. Also there are a few classifieds for Android, Neuroshima Hex, and Manhattan Project so we’ll see if I can get and play those.
Headed off with some of the local crew to a regional Legend of the Five Rings tournament. Hoping I can shake off the dust on my CCG skills and do reasonably well with a deck I built on Wednesday night…
Feeling for solo aventure games this week end:
– Mage night
– Eldritch Horror
– Fortune and Glory
– Gears of War
And if the family is in a gaming mood:
– Five tribes
– Keyflower
– Tokaido
– Takenoko
Oh and I did download a print and play custom Campaign deck for the Lord of the Rings LCG Core Set and 6 original Adventure Packs. Looking forward to trying that out too!
I’m hoping we might be able to get a little Heroscape in. But holidays are fast approaching, so free time becomes even more limited!
Mostly Star Realms it looks like.Maybe some Love Letter and King of Tokyo.
Edit: Found to precious time for a few runs (solo) with Shadowrun: Crossfire; one loss and one uber-win:D
Organized a board game day at the local game shop tomorrow so pretty excited to fit in a few more games than usual. Probably play some Coup, Kingsburg, Takenoko, Gloom, Cheaty Mages, maybe 7 Wonders. 🙂
A round of Arkham Horror interspersed with some rounds of Coup.
Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures planned on Sunday. Not sure what else though. Maybe Tokaido, it’s been a while and Wil Wheaton’s recent TableTop video made me want to try it again. Relic Runners hasn’t seen enough play time either, so that’s another possibility.
