I got to play a variety of games yesterday. Played some Lost Cities while waiting for others. Had a round of Mission Red Planet and Carcassonne. It was a pretty interesting evening since all of the games were new to everyone.
Well, tomorrow I’m going to the Critical Hit Release Party at Ninkasi for some Barley Wine and maybe an RPG. Then, Sunday, I’m going to go play with a new gaming group. I look forward to that. The family will probably play some games as well.
I was going to demo Slaughterball, but they need me to cover a shift tomorrow. I will, however, be playing Lagoon on Sunday. 🙂
I am playing Pathfinders the card game. I’m in the middle of Adventure pack 1, and loving every Goblin Henchman moment of it. I’m building four separate characters through solo play, but also enjoying triumphs with my 12 year old son.
Just picked up Robinson Crusoe and will be attempting a playthrough come tomorrow with my blood dosed up with enough caffeine to see me through learning how to survive. Alvin & Dexter might also take their first roam around on the Ticket To ride board.
…and it wouldn’t be a good weekend without a game of Pandemic!
Sunday will be my usual X-Wing. Beyond that, I’m not really sure what games are on the table (pardon the pun)
It is gaming weekend!! I do not actually know what we will be playing till everyone shows up. Even though we voted ahead of time on games! I do really hope to play Firefly!!
I’m sure I’ll be getting cozy with Vengeance for SOTM. Other than that, another 2-player weekend. Hive and Summoner Wars are likely.

Picked up Gravwell and Hanabi from my Friendly Local Gaming Store; hoping to try out both sometime this weekend.

@Paladin: Good luck to you and the lady! Nimera and I keep getting our butts kicked on Normal. We can manage with three players, but with just the two of us it’s a real challenge!
We’ll likely be trying out our copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game this weekend. I also intend to bust out Whitechapel and Olympos, if I can manage.
After three straight losses in a row last weekend, The Lady and I have some unfinished business with Pandemic this weekend.
We’re also going to attempt to make some time to visit my Board Gaming Buddy and give Archipelago another shot, now that our first play through has made the rules seem much less arcane and bizarre.
A couple buddies are coming over and I REALLY want to introduce them to Runewars. But I did just purchase Glass Road and that may be included. Quarriors and Smash Up may make it into the rotation at some point.
Planning/hoping to play a few of my more recent acquisitions, like Takenoko, Tokaido and Relic Runners. DC Comics Deck Building, Legendary and Firefly are other strong possibilities.
Tomorroy I will play Star Trek Fleet Captains + Expansion and Age of Empires III + expansion.
Game night with my two brothers, girlfriend and two other friends 😀 And we are going to play Small World, Small World: Underground, Small World: Realms, Grand Dames of Small World, Small World: Cursed!, Small World: Be not afraid, Small World: Royal Bonus and Small World tales and legends 😀
