Power Grid has been on my ‘want to try’ list longer than almost anything else.
Yeah, Power Grid is still a strong game.
A decade later Power Grid is still an amazing creation.
Not bad choices for this week. Two games I will play if others want to.
I remember not knowing what the heck a deck-building game even was when I first heard of DC. I’ll have to check out Power Grid.
The DC Deck Building game isn’t a terrible game, it’s just not done as well or thematically as the Legendary: Marvel one is. If you like DC over Marvel though then the art is certainly worth the purchase.
I have to second Granny, Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game is just superior to DC Comics: Deck-Building Game.
Power Grid may be fantastic but it looses me on the theme of the game which for me are half the game.
A couple good games to explore. I like Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game much better than DC, but it’s still worth checking out (especially if you are a DC Universe fan).
Power Grid is one of the classics. It is Friedemann Friese’s most balanced and elegant game, and rightly belongs on a monument with Puerto Rico, Agricola and Settlers of Catan.
Excellent! Finally we get to one of my favorite games of all time. There is something very satisfying about the balance of Power Grid, from the commodity markets to the benefits of turn order. My current game group has played this game dozens of times, and are still not tired of it.
I love the DC game!! It was my first deck-building game. I am a BIG DC comic fan to begin with. I played Power Grid recently after some persuasion. I suprisingly liked it and want to play it again. It was a very good well-rounded game!
