I’ll definitely be setting up a demo of Dead of Winter in my store as soon as it comes out.
I already pre-ordered Dead of Winter. It looks like negotiation will be a big part of the game… and could make some people hate it. Nevertheless, I have a feeling it will fill a void for those who can never get Diplomacy to the table.
FYI for anyone interested in Dead of Winter. Plaid Hat Games is currently offering a $20 discount if you pre-order it from their site. Now the shipping and handling can be a bit steep, but It’s still a great deal, and your directly supporting the publisher this way! I couldn’t resist it myself! Here’s the link >
Plaid Hat has yet to disappoint for me, and Dead of Winter looks awesome. It’s an insta-purchase as soon as I can.
Really looking forward to Dead of Winter. Plaid Hat Games has some nice previews of various game mechanics on their webpage. It looks to be a lot of fun.
For some reason, I laughed when I saw the full title for Hawken, especially when I read the Overview and saw the clarification: “Real-time, but pausable gameplay.”
Isn’t that, like…a required definition of a card or board game?
Come play War: Face-to-Face Card Game
Just kidding around. The Gameplay of Hawken looks frenetic and interesting. I’m just commenting on the name.
Wow, Dead Of Winter looks really cool. I love the original concept behind this and it kinda reminds me of the Walking Dead by TellTale Games. Would be keen to see some reviews on this one.
