“Unit size cap”

There’s a tendency for players to field one incredibly large unit in their armies. I think this detracts from the game, and so I think a good house rule is to cap the size of units at 50. In the case of multi-wound models, I’d cap the size at 50 wounds (25 two wound models, 16 three wound, etc)

“No 6th level magic”

The title says it all. I’d just pretend that the 6th level spell in each school of magic doesn’t exist. They’re all horrendously overpowered, and make the game a lot less fun.

“Unholy Alliance”

If you are playing this with a group of friends that are already into Warhammer and have some armies, set this up as an unholy alliance – the Skaven are mind controlling the Elves. This will boost your army to match up with the standard 2000 point armies of others with ease!

“2 Player Introduction”

A great box for getting 2 people into Warhammer Fantasy. Split the box with a friend and you each get the start of an army, either High Elves or the tricksy Skaven. Great value for both players!

“Car bomb's away”

I don’t like this game, but a preferred way to enjoy this game as a beer and pretzels tabletop, is to do an Irish Car bomb after you loose a unit. Play in teams and both members do one after their side looses a unit.
