“For Beginners”

When you turn on the game (how often do you get to say that for board games), the computer will ask you to “Enter Skill.” When learning the game, or teaching new players, set it to 0. This way, someone is more likely to win, hopefully making it a more enjoyable experience and keep players coming back for more. Only once you’re a more advanced player set the skill level to 1 or 2 for a more advanced challenge!

“Take out the batteries!”

I just opened up Omega Virus for the first time in years. I forgot to take the 4 AA batteries out of the machine for long term storage. A lot of battery acid had leaked and begun to accumulate. Fortunately, I got it all cleaned up and it still works fine. I would hate to hear of someone else’s game revolutionizing machine to break because of this mistake. Take out your batteries, people!
