“Timing camp resupplies”

When you’re getting ready to return to base camp to resupply, time your movement so you end your turn at camp. If you start your next turn in camp, you won’t have to burn a consumables token, saving you a few AP.

“Solo variant...The pirate cave”

Love this solo variant…the goal is to find the most gold in a pirate cave. The deeper you explore, the more gold you will find.

“Loops”

If you can create loops as you discover new tiles, you can make your way back to camp while continuing to reveal new VP tokens — without wasting turns retracing your steps.

“Don't Take it too Seriously”

Don’t take this game like a serious strategy game. It is unpredictable just like exploring a cave. You never know what you will find so try to be as prepared as possible. It does the theme really well as long as you aren’t set on winning the game. Just enjoy the experience.
