“The Picard Maneuver”

If someone attempts to play either the Wil Wheaton or Force of Wil cards, any opponent can yell “Shut up, Wesley!” and force them to be discarded.

“Reducing Play Area Space Consumption”

Finally, your collection is in one easy to find location. All your cards are conveniently sorted (alphabetical, Dewey decimal, genre classifications, etc.) and right at your fingertips just an arm’s reach away. There is a problem though. The box is…well…big!

Not only do you have to mitigate the space consumed by your new fantastic accessory, but the problem is doubled by the existence of the lid, which unfortunately becomes the biggest issue at the exact worst time, while you are actually playing. This dilemma can be solved by placing the base of the box holding all your monstrous goodies inside the upside down box top! Not only does this reduce the table footprint in half, it also makes finding both parts super easy during cleanup.

One caveat, care must be taken when separating the base from the lid or gravity could create an epic organizational malfunction.

“Save yourself some money”

If you put two factions into each slot, the base game’s tray will hold thirty-six of them. A single expansion’s box can accommodate all of the manuals, non-faction cards, and tokens. That’s six or seven expansions that can be housed easily in two boxes that you don’t have to pay extra for. So unless you’re a completionist who owns every expansion, you really love the nerdlebrities in the Geeks faction, or you just love having everything in one container, the surprisingly expensive $25 Big Geeky Box probably isn’t for you.

“Robot Dinosaurs Own all”

It’s true. We actually developed a house rule that these two factions can never be played together.
