“Buildings are the Key”

Keep your eye on the buildings which appear during the game. There are many that have special abilities which grant a player Renown or gold. These buildings give you a path to Renown that your opponents don’t have. There are also some powerful combinations of buildings which can help you pile on the Renown. Exploit these buildings and coast to victory!

“They're Free...Use Them!”

Any chance you can, make your way to a town where an event is taking place. Completing an event is the icing on the cake after you’ve completed your town Visit. It’s the best way to amass Influence quickly. Start allying with some towns and watch the gold start pouring in from the Spoils. From there you can do anything, buy buildings, resources, knowledge or recruit pirates/sea monsters for the attack!
