“Scroll scoring is often what tips the win”

Beginners often ignore tiles with scrolls, ignore closing off the region they’re in, ignore buying up cheap tiles that serve both a round scoring tile and the scroll at game end.

Games I’ve lost have all been because VP from scrolls was pathetically miniscule (≤6); games I’ve won were from 20+ scroll VP.

It helps to go for scrolls no one else wants (not competing with round scoring tiles) and then sneak up on those area tiles to score on.
