“Fly there; it's faster...”

It’s been a few years since I last played El Dorado, but as I recall there is a cash bonus for being the first player to reach the southernmost point on South America.

You might think that this means you have to hack your way through the jungle to get there, but not so. The southernmost point is also a place which you can fly to, so (if no one beats you to it) just fly strait there from New York on your first turn and score the extra cash.
