There is a great deal of unknown when playing your cards each turn. You don’t know what your opponents will do, only what they might do based on their current setup. Pay attention to the pulse of the game and from time to time, try to be incredibly bold.

By this, I mean play your cards such that instead of taking baby steps and playing all the cards you need from your own hand, anticipate your opponents playing 1 or 2 of those cards. You focus on what you *know* they won’t play. If you’re able to pull this off once or twice per game, you’ll be building the Terraformers or expensive upgrades that typically take your opponents 2 or 3 turns in only one turn.
