Myth by Megacon Games just came in the mail this week! I’ve looked through all the components and have been enjoying the amazing eye candy. Whether I actually “play” the game this weekend depends on that awesome rulebook. I choose to say awesome so I don’t feel intimidated 🙂

Just picked up the Game of Thrones Living Card Game and also the Board Game!! Both will probably take an entire weekend each however super excited to play!
Spent the weekend sick in bed, still managed to fit in a few games of Suburbia and Core Worlds though.
Saturday had a theme day(Filler games-nothing over 30 minutes) so played Die Mauer, Bugs in the Kitchen(Target exclusive) Catan Dice, Bang Dice, and several others.
My weekend gaming consisted of a game of Tokaido split over Sunday and Monday evening. It was our first time playing and we started a bit later than we should have, hence splitting it over two days.
I am really glad I got Tokaido for Christmas; it is absolutely gorgeous. I’m already looking forward to the next time I can play it.
Best gaming weekend in a long time! Went to Gary Con in Lake Geneva this past weekend and gamed straight for four days. Played Touch of Evil, Call of Cthulhu, Shadowrun, mansions of madness, Arkham Horror, a new zombie card game Pittsburgh 68, Resident Evil Deck Building Game, & Ultimate Werewolf. A totally fun atmosphere it was all contained in the Hotel so every where you went someone was playing games. Even the dinning room had a wall of games you could just grab one and start something while you ate. Great time!
None.
I have played all of nothing for the last month or so. I have a big game order coming up and I can’t wait to start playing something, anything, again, but for now I live vicariously through you all.
Pandemic in the Lab, Tsuro, and DC Deck Building.
Played a game of Lords of Waterdeep with my wife, X-Wing Miniatures with my son, and Krosmaster Arena with my daughter. A nice, well-rounded gaming week-end with the family!
Hosted the monthly gaming event for our group. Back-to-back introductory games of Mage Knight Board Game and Yedo. Both games took longer than desired, but hopefully next time they will go faster!
Played Takenoko and Legendary (with all expansions) Saturday.
I’ve been doing more painting than playing this weekend, actually! I’m painting miniatures for Descent and after that, I’ll hit the Mice and Mystics miniatures.
Had over 60 folks stop by at our Spielbound fundraiser last night! We brought 85 games from the library and others brought more. Many were played including: Dragon Hoard, 7 Wonders, Power Grid (Japan), Tokenoko, Tokaido, Hanabi, One Night Werewolf, Cash & Guns, DC Comics Deck-Building Game, Alien Frontiers, Agricola, Race for the Galaxy, Machine of Death, Survive, Through the Desert, Rampage, Lords of Waterdeep, Sleuth, Tsuro of the Seas, King of Tokyo, & more!
@JAY I hope your child is on the mend 🙂
And I’m glad that even if it was an ‘@JAY Weekend it was a good weekend nonetheless
I like the Halloween expansion for KoT also – new monsters are new monsters in my book and while the ‘costumes’ are kind of goofy, they can be left in or left out with ease and don’t really do any damage to gameplay. Sounds like you really went toe to toe (or claw to claw)!
Totally unexpected this weekend, due to sick child. I actually found myself headed into town (40 minute drive) to play with a game group there. I took my oldest with me on this trip.
We played Kingdom Builder with Nomads and Crossroads expansions for the fist time. That was quite fun. My daughter won the first game, and I won the second.
We then had a rousing game of “Homestretch” with six players. It was a hoot! I barely pulled out a win by one spot.
Then we had some six player with King of Tokyo with both Power Up and Halloween expansions. This was my first time playing the Halloween expansion. It was pretty fun. It came down to another guy and me, and I couldn’t roll the two claws I needed for the win.
So, 0-3 in my predictions, but I don’t mind.
@MChez That sounds like a good gaming day to me, my friend! 🙂
Finally back into a semi-normal groove. Hoping to get a game of Sentinels of the Multiverse in and if that goes well perhaps the next adventure of our Pathfinder:ACG.
Played some eclipse, memoir ’44, love letter and catan: cities and knights this weekend.
Played Freedom, Twilight Struggle, Medici, and Suburbia.
Quarriors, Betrayal, and 2 new games Quantum and Fairy Tale (Z-man) – Reviews coming!
