So, I wound up picking up Legendary Encounters and playing it a few times. Still suffers from the utter lack of scalability that Legendary struggled with. On the plus side, the rules come with example of how to increase and decrease difficulty, so I’ll be doing my best to tweak it to a good level.
Pathfinder Adventure Card Game – Skull and Shackles. I bought the whole S&S adventure path the same time I subscribed for WotR, so I’m plowing through it with Jirelle, Lini and Seltyiel.
Did not play what I expected but still a good weekned
Legendary encounters 2x: for me it’s the best solo deckbuilding game. Win my two games, 1 win for Alien 2 (after 3 attempts) and 1 win for Alien 3 on first try
Defenders of the Realm 1x: while waiting for the Dragon Expansion actually on Kickstarter…Lost my first game playing with the Generals expansion.
Dead Man tell no tales 1x: another win at admiral Level, will have to increase the game difficulty because I did’nt loose so far.
Just spent several days among the masses at Origins. Got more games played in 3 days than I have in the last 3 months. It’s always fun meeting with others that share your passion. Though the types of games might differ, the excitement is always the same. The games I played were:
Pandemic: On the Brink (2 different scenarios)
Gravwell
Sentinels of the Multiverse
Villainy (a fun new game from Mayfair)
Settlers of Catan
Mad City
Compounded w/ expansion
AquaSphere
Student Bodies
Trambahn
The Witches
Zombicide x2
Now I can get some home experience until GenCon
Played a game of Thunderstone Advance on Friday night with my girlfriend. Saturday my gaming group and I played Five Tribes and an epic game of Dead of Winter. I might get a chance to solo something today. Maybe Eldritch Horror if I find the time since I just bought it last week.
Got to go to Origins this weekend. Ended up working a vender booth most of the weekend so only got to play: imperial settlers, Star Realms, Alchimist, Lanterns, and a Kickstarter game that ended in Legacy.
Yesterday was my weekely X-wing butt whooping, and today looks like some group Zombicide. Maybe later I’ll unbox and give Pathfinder ACG Skull & Shackles a try. Super excited about that one. There may be a Love Letter or Citadels appearance in there somewhere too.
I will be finishing up a Tide of Iron scenario that I have been working on. And being the anniversary of the D-Day landings, I would like to do one of the Memoir 44 D-Day maps. I would also like to play a game of Lords of Waterdeep tomorrow with the expansion.
Having friends up for their first game. Looking at playing either cosmic encounter or Kingsburg to show them something different from monopoly and risk.
And this would be the weekend I sprained my wrist, thumb, index, and BGdot Echelon finger chapertetting The Nieces at a roller skating party.
Pretty much the Interwebz equivalent of having your jaw wired shut.
Game Play: Chasing the Painkiller Dragon

Started of the weekend with Love Letter and on saturday we continued our adventure Jade Regent (Pathfinder). Just started book 2 of 5.
A couple of more plays of LotR:LCG on Saturday before a game of Alchemists and Xenoshyft with some friends later in the evening.

Ended up playing Battlestar Galactica. I loved it as much as I wanted to and even better, I was the Cylon.

Most likely to be in the Warhammer Universe this weekend with Chaos in the Old World and Warhammer 40,000: Conquest.
Started of the weekend with a couple of games of LotR:LCG by taking my Dwarves through the Long Dark of the Mines of Moria.
A gaming night at some friends Saturday but still open to what we’ll play.
Dead of Winter, finally got it this week…must play. Setting up now.
Hopefully a game of Eldritch horror and mabye Terra Mystica!
Carcassonne or Akrotiri this weekend for me
Mr Jack and Takenoko are becoming new favorites. I hope to get a few plays of each this weekend.
Finally got the Forsaken Lore expansion for Eldritch Horror so I’d like to dive back into the world of Lovecraft this weekend!
