So I just saw that Summoner Wars was released for iOS devices, so I’ll be taking that for a spin. I also think it’s time to pull out some Dominion, haven’t played that in… can’t remember.
What will you be playing?

Thanks for the well wishes Akden, much appreciated.
Really lookin forward to this weekend, got my group coming over for DnD after a 2 month hiatus!
Attended DiceTower Con in Orlando over the weekend (I live in Tampa, so only a 1 hour drive!) Got to play Lords of Waterdeep, Thunderstone Advance, Eminent Domain, Red Dragon Inn, Liar’s Dice, Core Worlds, Catacombs, Dice Town, Nightfall, Castle Panic, and King of Tokyo.
I also bought a bunch of games and got some great deals! Colosseum (like new-$20), Thunderstone Advance (new-$25), Nottingham (like new-$5), Aton (new-$5), If Wishes were Fishes (like new-$5), Wizard (new-$3), Catan Dice game (like new-$3) and got Bat’l Khaos and Sounds like a Plan in the charity auction for $15.
@bobb33z3r: Sorry to hear you had so much trouble with the storms. I’m right near the northern VA/WV border, and despite trees getting knocked down and half the city being without power for days, we had pretty minimal damage on our side of town. I feel terrible for all the people who had to live without power and those who had to sort through all the wreckage. Adding health and car issues to all that is like rubbing salt in the wound. Hope things turn around soon for you.
Gaming!? Psshaw! My LIFE was a game this past week/end. Endured the vast power outage that ravaged (and still ravages) the Va/W.Va area for 6 days, which resulted in no power AND no water, watched my car require an expensive repair for something that 20 years ago would have cost about 6 bucks, then contracted lyme disease for my troubles… In the game of Life, I lost a turn and had to move back 50 spaces last week. Coulda been worse tho, coulda been Game Over. 😉 I did get to build another deck for Lord of the Rings which I will try and play with tonight. Next weekend is DnD and looks much more promising for gaming.
This weekend I got in a session of the Pathfinder game that I’m in and three games of Carcassonne. It was a rather game-light weekend, despite having extra time to do things in.
Played some Lords of Waterdeep (my wife LOVES this game)and a couple games of Ticket To Ride and Carcassonne.
Game night last Friday and only 4 showed up so we were able to play a number of games – Martian Dice, Bazaar, Rattus, Nefarious and Risk Legacy. We had a great time.
The group that host my local gaming con SaltCon (Every February in Salt Lake City, Utah) held a game day on Saturday to raise money to expand there gaming library. I attended and played the following games. Small World, Martian Dice, For The Win, Wok Star, Black Friday, Power Grid, and Dark Horse.
Played Lords of Waterdeep and Ora and Labora.
Date nite with the wife so likely nothing…unless she is down for flipping some cardboard, ha!
I’m so happy. I got to play REAL PEOPLE today! Got in Quarriors with a few bits from the Quarmegeddon expansion and played Tsuro too.
I managed to be brilliant and come in last in both games.
Lots of rain around here, so looks like it’s a good weekend for gaming.
We’re planning to try out our playtest set of Story Realms, which we’re all looking forward to.
On Sunday we are off to visit friends and are expecting to play some games there. The daughter is planning the travelling games cupboard, which looks like it will include Dominion, Clans and Enchanted Forest for a start, so some of those are likely to get played.
Oh, and I recently picked up the Android version of Neuroshima Hex, which is proving a nice little diversion for when I have a few minutes available to kill some hexagons.
Poison and The World Cup Card Game.
I’ll be playing more Uncharted with the boys… a surprisingly entertaining game. Infiltration is on the docket, and maybe some Cyclades. We may go see Spiderman which will take up some game time. 🙂
Played some Carcasonne and Memoir ’44 Eastern expansion. Hopefully, I’ll get some 7 Wonders and who knows what else my kids pick.
Taking a trip over to the game store tonight for open game night. I look forward to when the schedule opens up and I can get over there. No clue what Im going to get into, but it should be a good time.
Been playing a lot of Summoner Wars this week in anticipation of the app release, and then after, when I was unable to download it because of technical issues. 🙁 I was finally able to download it, so I’ll be playing the app this week-end.
I also ordered Uncharted and Infiltration during Coolstuffinc’s 4th of July sale. They should both be here tomorrow, so I may get the chance to try them out as well.
If I get my way I will play a bit of L5R CCG and throw down on that D&D 5e / D&D Next playtest material.
A Line in the Sand
(the old TSR game)
I love writing off the wall message.
Just received Dungeon Run in a mail trade, played once last night with my daughter. Tonight is World of Warcraft: The Boardgame and maybe an introduction to World of Darkness RPG. This weekend, probably some more Dungeon Run and Wiz War with my daughter.
