Love Super Dungeon Explore. Good game.
@ Randy Me too! I need to start adding some RPGs to the system. Two new favorites are Hollowpoint and Microscope. I’d also like to get Warhammer FRP added, as that’s what I GM right now. 🙂
I’d really love to see more support for RPG material here… particularly the Pathfinder RPG supplements (Advanced Player’s Guide, Ultimate Magic, etc.).
@Granny: I was pleased to see Omen reach its goal, but I was worried for a bit that it would fail. I also really like Small Box Games, and I wanted to get Hemloch, but they stopped taking preorders in early December and haven’t reopened them yet. I’m assuming he is preoccupied with the whole Kickstarter campaign, but it would be nice to pick up some of his other stuff as well.
@Ben Yes, I have Omen and Kisckstarted the upgrade for my set. I can’t wait to get it. Small Box makes some great games. Hemloch is one everyone should check out if given the chance as well.
@ Granny ~ Omen is a Kickstarted game that’s been up for a bit, and the 2d edition, Kickstarted, just hit its funding goal. Looking forward to getting a chance to play that one; many people with interests similar to mine (basically, the We Love Heroscape community) enjoy it.
Added info for both Frag Gold Edition & Frag Gold Edition: FTW Expansion! I’ve been playing both of these a lot recently, and would love to see them added soon!
Also glad to see Dragonheart added!
Looking forward to Dungeon Petz – Looks like a great premise – nice art and family friendly…
As an avid wargamer and roleplayer as well, SDE seems like the best of all worlds for me!
From what I’ve heard about Super Dungeon Explore, nearly all the minis glue together just fine, and that it’s only the big dragon that’s a pain.
I’m waiting for the Wiz-War redesign. The original game was fine but it lacked visual appeal. Now it can be better. The rules are revised I hope that it does not mean spoiled…
@whatawhale
Ohh, I didn’t realize it would be that many pieces to assemble. I agree with you, that would be too much of a hassle. I figured it would be 2 or 3 pieces to snap together.
Glad to see Legions of Darkness added. Victory Point Games has some really fun titles. They definitely don’t have the production values of Fantasy Flight or some other big companies, but they create some fun games with neat mechanics. Being a big fan of Space Hulk, I’d also recommend Forlorn: Hope by Victory Point.
Really enjoying this site. Keep up the great work.
Getting some Kickstarted games in there I see. Fortress America interests quite a bit.
Super Dungeon Explore looks flat-out awesome. It’s on my list. I’ll snap together a hundred figures to play this beautiful beast. Granny likes!
@twonky
The pieces don’t just snap together.
From everything I’ve read it seems to be a real undertaking. For example many figures are composed of 5-13 tiny little pieces of plastic that you must GLUE together.
Have you ever been to one of those restaurant where you have to cook the food? It’s kinda like that for me.
I’ll probably buy the game though ’cause it looks right up my alley. If I hold out for a couple months maybe I’ll find a pre-assembled used copy.
Shouldn’t be to hard to assemble them though. Are you sure assembly is required, whatawhale?
Super dungeon explore seems really interesting but I hate the idea of having to put all figures together.
Anyone else have thoughts on that?
