Don’t be afraid to take a Delivery Truck even if it only has two tiles on it. Especially in the mid to late game when it can be very detrimental to get stuck with excess tiles. Spend your turns taking money actions if you can, this allows other players to fill the trucks so you can take your pick.
Most players tend to stack the delivery trucks to their advantage. One way to keep things in check is see what is in other player’s zoos. If you draw an animal that is not in a person’s zoo or they don’t have room for it, find a truck that hasn’t been filled and looks advantageous to them. Stick the out-of-place animal on that truck to discourage a player from grabbing that truck.
Zooloretto has a lot of expansions that can deepen the gameplay and add variety to the base game.

Zooloretto: Boss which adds charitable organizations and more money options
Zooloretto: XXL which allows you to grow your zoo more and increase playtime
