“Relatives in the neutral houses”

It is always clever to go for relatives when you have a chance for it. The neutral houses on the edge of town make for good positions for the relatives. But make sure you either fill up the houses if you want them for yourself. The downside of getting a lot of relatives is that they will all try to get their hands in your people. So using neutral houses close to your own men will be very helpful for getting the men out. You simply move one from a colored house to the neutral house, then you move one from the neutral house out the gate. Easy as that! 🙂

“Smart placement”

If you place your meeples towards the outside of the map they will be the biggest targets for the dreaded Omen cards. Obviously this is less of a problem in a two player game…
