“Multiple robots”

At worst you might need to use all robots to reach your goal. Don`t be afraid to set the other robots in movement if you find it hard to get the single robot to its goal. It might actually help sometimes, reducing the moves needed for the robot, or the puzzle is just that much more difficult to reach.

“Balancing act”

Skill level of players is the biggest issue of this game and is quite mitigated by allowing the player with fewest chits to attempt a solution if more players have come up with the same number of moves.

Another way to level the field somewhat is for the experienced player(s) to not look at the board before someone has called out a solution giving the lesser experienced players some time to look for a solution forcing them to find a shorter solution to score a point.
