“Staying Behind when you are Ahead…”

As the game progresses, if you don’t need gold to turn it into money keep one piece of Pay Dirt on your plant one space back from being turned into gold. This will help you stay out of first place during the Hardship phase, but give you quick access to gold if you need it.
