Memoir ’44: Pacific Theater - Tips & Strategies

Since the goal of Memoir ’44 is about eliminating units for medals which leads to victory, it is advantageous to focus on the weaker units to knock them out faster. However, when playing against the Japanese this could hurt you more than you realize. A large group of full strength Japanese infantry can wreak havoc on your forces, since they get an extra attack die in close combat. Sometimes it pays to first eliminate one figure from each of the full strength units, so they no longer get the attack bonus. Then start working on eliminating the weaker units.
