“Maximize your actions”

Using friends that give you extra pawns or free arranged marriages is huge. If you use them enough they will give you many more actions throughout the course of the game.

“Hints in solo game”

As soon as you can, solve the hints. It gives you a prestige point and therefore the sooner you solve it, the more honor points you get in all.
