“Half Price Item Sale!”

As Overseer, when the heroes reach the store, whilst I lay out 6 items as standard, I also display 3 item cards face up that acts as a sale shelf. Any items in this row are 50% off! If the value is an odd number, then round up the value. After all, the Merchant has to make a living down here.

Harsher Catacomb Lords may sneer at this ‘charity’, but I always find it more interesting to give heroes a bevy of abilities to draw from throughout as, quite frankly, it makes the game more interesting for them and more dramatic for me.

“Aggression!”

Come out swinging and use Ability cards as early as you can in a meaningful way. Waiting too long will reduce the benefit.
