“Make the Heratek class more bearable”

Hi,

As those familiar with the 40k franchise know, Tzeentch isn’t *all* about being the crazy pskyer god, She/He/It also loves plans and complex machinations. To me there wasn’t really much room for a Heratek to move.

My house rule is that, at character creation, you can elect to have Tzeentch “judge” you on you Int not your WP. Effectively swapping WP and Int upgrades to count towards your progression. Now Tzeentch is also about doing what they please so it doesn’t change the gifts or what have you that they give out.

“A Heretek fix”

Essentially, there is no “fun” path for a Heretek as all the “traditional” paths are based on Int and no god likes Int according to the crunch.

In the fluff Tzeentch is all about plans and machinations, so my house rule is to allow the characters at creation to decide if they want Tzeentch to judge them on their WP or Int. This means that if they choose Int, buying Int based upgrades brings them closer to Tzeentch but not WP.

However Tzeentch *is* all about the lulz as well so you still get “gifts” as per normal. It can be quite fun to have the Heretek running around with it’s new suprise psyker powers.
