Artifacts, Inc. - Tips & Strategies

I got the idea from the official solo variant created for Lewis and Clark. Artifacts Inc is essentially a race game. Set up the game as normal but for one player. Place one of the solo player’s cubes and one “dummy player” cube at the start of the scoring track. The solo player begins the game as in a normal 2-4 player game. After his turn, the solo player moves the dummy player’s cube two spaces.
The game is quick, as the dummy cube will reach 20 on the scoring track in just 10 turns. The solo player must make prudent choices on each of his turns, as he must acquire 21+ points (using the standard rules) by the end of the game.
