“Use only the expansion Mythos and encounter cards...”

…and you’ll have a better chance of actually using some of the content in the the BGotW expansion. This is similar to the “touring performance” option from the King in Yellow expansion. The downside is that you might hit some of the same Arkham encounters once or twice (as each location only has four cards), but the theme and components from BGotW we get a lot more use.

“Sub STL for Cult membership”

Want the cards in the set, but don’t care for the Cult rules? Just do what I do, and treat any encounter that says ‘take a cult membership card’ as a ‘take a silver twilight lodge membership card’ instead.
