We’ll be continuing our Undercity campaign and work in a game or two from Steve Jackson Games’ latest batch, which included Munchkin Gloom, Smash Up: Munchkin, and The Nightmare Before Christmas Munchkin as well as a few small expansions for Munchkin and Munchkin Zombies. And then there’s the matter of a whole lot of Blood Rage that showed up last night…
What are you playing this weekend?
Any chance you could give a review for Undercity? If you’re into a campaign it must be good!
Imperial Assault
Continuing a campaign.
Ended up playing San Juan, Dice Masters, and DC Deck Builder
Went and visited my mom, so only got in some Skip-Bo, Uno, and Phase 10. I am missing other games right now, don’t really have a regular gaming group.
Zombie Dice and Pandemic: The Cure made for die rolling fun this weekend.
Just completed the 5th adventure of Pathfinder:Wrath of the Righteous over two evenings.
Next weekend however is an annual cabin trip filled with gaming goodness 😀
Just finishing up Valor Con as I am writing. 3 day gaming conference in downtown Chicago. It went really well. A lot of fun. Got to play Dark Tower Dead of Winter, Mysterium, Code Name, imperial Assault and a lot more. Lots of video, table top, card and RPGs. Lost of play testing and even some cosplay. It was in the Block 37 mall already have the place for next year.
Played another couple games of Istanbul. I can’t stop playing that one. I think I’m addicted. I also squeezed in a game of Smash Up, 7 Wonders and Legendary.
Had our monthly game night last night and played Takenoko, Qwirkle, Zombie Dice times 2, Antidote, Machi Koro, and Exploding Kittens.
So far this weekend, I’ve played Yavalath (an awesome, short and subtle abstract created by Cameron Browne’s AI); Haspelknecht (a delightful and pleasantly difficult game of mining in the Ruhr); and Pack of Heroes (a lovely little superhero duel by Australia’s Adventureland Games.)
Starting a Pandemic Legacy campaign…cannot beleive that I need to …. OK no spoilers 🙂
@Sikosis only had time for one play, 2 player (we remove 2 cards from each establishment and all but 2 of each purple card in 2 player), today so not going to make any sweeping declarations, but initial impressions of Millionaire’s Row are positive! I like the mechanics that the new cards bring, they seem fun. Because there are so many cards with both expansions, MR definitely influenced the game but not a staggering amount. The new cards changed some old strategies, but in a good way. Game was also only 45mins so the time didn’t change much.
From what I read and viewed, some reviewers seemed annoyed that there isn’t a new landmark card, or cards for a sixth player and that the cards are more “spiteful”. But my initial impressions are that it is a solid expansion if you have the harbor expansion. I can’t wait to get in some 3 and 4 player games.
Played End of the Word: Zombie Apocalypse with my RPG crew; my kids are into Pokémon, and am always happy to play a game with them; thinking of digging into Terra Mystica.
Depending upon how many of our usual group show up tonight (4-6 players), we’ll probably want to run some Viceroy, definitely more Steampunk Rally (so much fun) and I just got hold of a copy of Scoville this week (last copy from an online retailer at MSRP… not paying those Ebay KS re-sale gougers). Looks to be loads of fun… WOOT!
To celebrate the completion of a successful Kickstarter (and just because I want to), there will be much Spirit Island this weekend.
A friend of mine just got Quantum and Traders of Osaka, so we’ll be playing those along with Rhino Hero, Takenoko, Castle Panic and Tsuro.
@burgerchief … be very curious to know what you think of Millionaire’s Row …
Friday night we got 7 Wonders: Cities, Glass Road, Peloponnes & Railways of the World: UK map to the table.
The weekend started early with a school break freeing the kids Thursday and Friday. We played (I lost badly at) Thunderstone, pass and played iOS Star Realms, I won at Coin Age while waiting for pizza, and we played Euphoria. It is good to have a few days off.
Probably Pandemic In The Lab, I’m also hoping to break out with Temporum.
Just got a scenario of ROTR in, teaching a friend how to play. He seemed to enjoy it. I just received Millionaire’s row so hope to break out Machi Koro this weekend.
