My wife and I tried our hands at Lords of Waterdeep and King of Tokyo this past weekend. My wife loves the simplicity and fun of KoT, while I love the subtle complexity of LoW, not to mention the fantastic components and storage system (wish more board games would do this!).
My husband and I played The Magnificent Race for the first time this weekend. I really liked it and can’t wait to play with a full set of 4 players as soon as possible.
Some of my favorite 30 min games are: Ticket to Ride Card Game, For Sale, Innovation (2 players), Guillotine, and Bohnanza.
My group had plans for a big game night to celebrate one of the guys (finally) graduating college, but some snow and ice put a stop to that. It became a solo Pathfinder Adventure Card Game night instead.
As for under 30 minute games, our favorite is probably Summoner Wars. Sometimes a game will go longer, but most are well under 30 minutes.
Got the chance to play some more of The Walking Dead Board Game: The Best Defense yesterday, and it will be the last time – I’ll be updating my review to reflect that.
I just got a bunch of games in the mail but I have to wrap them for Christmas. It is going to be a tough 2 weeks. Until then, we will try to get Spy Alley back out for my daughter who loves it (under 30 minutes).
Still playing Pathfinder ACG a lot. Have played all 11 characters through Perils + Burnt Offerings + 2 characters through Skinsaw solo. Planning on doing more Skinsaw. And got to play Bioshock Infinite with a neighbor of mine.

We had a grand ol time with Get Bit! Deluxe. It kept us laughing all through the night.
I Played Francis Drake! Awesome game, with a beautiful setup, nice gameplay and 120+ mins of pure fun! Totally recommended 🙂
I solitarily playing Magic the Gathering, which tested my decks against Hydra Face the Challenge Deck.
The Hydra is really a “bug” annoying to face.

I played Star Trek Catan and Battlestar Galactica with friends and family. I tried out the Cylon leader and liked it and the Cylons won!

7 Wonders is our hands-down favorite 30-minutes-or-less game right now. Hopefully we can get a few games in!

I moved recently, so everything’s in storage except for my new kickstarted Zombicide stuff.
Game playing options are low for anything not on my computer.
Gonna play some Krosmaster, but Ninja v Ninja is my fave for a short game (10-15 minutes each).
We played a great range of games, from Trains, DC Deck Building Game, Legendary, Elder Signs and Bohnanza
Chez Geek is a fun one that we play under 30 mins.

I’d like to try K2, Firefly and Walking Dead: The Best Defense over the weekend. Probably won’t be able to play them all though.
As for “30 minutes or less” games, I like Jaipur, Zombie Dice and Mr. Jack. Also, Frank’s Zoo (not on the site).
I recently discovered Mice and Mystics, so that will happen. Also, Sentinels always happens.
Still playing Pathfinder ACG a lot. Have played all 11 characters through Perils + Burnt Offerings + 2 characters through Skinsaw solo. Planning on doing more Skinsaw. And got to play Bioshock Infinite with a neighbor of mine.
I finally got my copies of The Resistance and Coup from KS, so I’m hoping to try those this weekend also.
Looking forward to giving king of tokyo it’s first play after it arrived earlier this week!
