A round of Puerto Rico with my girlfriend on saturday, a high scoring affair 78-58.
On Sunday me and two friends finished up the Pathfinder ACG with the last three adventures. On the Mhar Massif we were close to running out of blessings thanks to an Icy Ledge (very fitting barrier to draw) but the last two really turned into a breeze. Into the Eye could have been a lot worse but thanks to a timely Quill followed by scrying (I dumped my entire hand the turn before to get it) we could place Karzoug on the bottom without facing him earlier. I then got to the honor of finishing him off with an 87 were I forgot the D4s from the runeforged weapons..
On Friday, I played two games of Sleeping Queens with my daughter.
Saturday, my wife and I played three games of Splendor, and I got in a solo game of Legendary Encounters.
Today, my son and I finished yet another one of our neverending series of Hull Breach: Corporate Wars and then followed this with a game of Run, Fight, or Die.
So, the lady who runs the largest game convention in our area is coming to our little game group today and bringing Five Tribes and Tragedy Looper. These are both games high on my list, but not available to purchase yet. She must have gone to GenCon. So, yay, and stuff.
Played two games of Settlers of Catan-Traders & Barbarians expansion yesterday, planning on Memoir 44 and Lord’s of Waterdeep today. My wife and I may play a tie breaker of Settlers today too, as we each won a game.
Two games of Carcassonne. We realized we were doing some of the rules wrong after listening to “The Long View”. We had to go back to it and try it out. Base game only. Fun times.
@Inmarg Yeah, One Night is the ultimate pure deduction/bluffing game. Once you realize how to play it, you develop little tricks to help divulge the liars…or hide your own devious plans. One of my favorite tricks when I’m a werewolf is to wait and see if someone is the seer, and grab it if no one picks it up. Then, I suggest I saw one ore two of the werewolves in the middle. This throws everyone off. It works well as the tanner if you do it in a game where they still remember the last time you pulled that stunt. Then you’ve got to lay low awhile and try some other tricks. Happy gaming!
I was a bit unsure about it at first as well, but as always, you never stop after just one play so I soon got addicted to it and so did a lot of other people in my gaming vicinity.
A lot of people complain it’s just random but with repeated plays you can even use the villager to your advantage and when you learn how others behave when lying/telling the truth it actually gets better.
@ob1_K.no.B Carnival Zombie is one of the best zombie games…like an adult version of Castle Panic. I heard a U.S. Company is going to reprint/distribute it…can’t remember which one…maybe Zman. I think Vasel talked about it in a podcast. It’s a bit pricey to get the European version. It was about $65 bucks when in print (worth it IMO). Now, it’s selling for over $100 which is too steep. It will get a reprint, and they are talking about adding minis to the next edition. I’ll sell you my old copy then. Heh, heh. 🙂
@Inmarg Yeah! Daybreak is the name. Thanks! We are really looking forward to this as One Night has become a staple. What other game can you play in 5 to 10 minutes with a large play count and tons of fun? I can count all of them on one finger.
Funny story is we hated it after our first play…didn’t really understand it from the rule book and hadn’t downloaded the app yet. We wondered what the fuss was about. So, I went home and watched some gameplay videos, and was like, “ohhhhhhhhh, that’s how you play it.” I downloaded the app, went back to game day, and the rest is history. We still love Avalon/Resistance, but this gets played more due to its quick play. Bezier really nailed it.
Carnival Zombie has been on my wish list since I saw the review on Dice Tower almost a year ago….It’s funny because I am actually searching on the net to get that game but I cannot find it…
We’re camping Friday night, so a lot of Roll for It! Sunday is game day, and we’ll be playing Dead of Winter, Istanbul, Imperial Settlers, and Carnival Zombie. We always play One Night, Avalon, Coup and Mascarade…and we’ll be throwing in the new Coup expansion.
BTW A new version of One Night Werewolf is going up on Kickstarter soon…called The Day After, or something like that. We love One Night, so I can’t wait for some new roles and rules.
I will be doing a solo Memoir 44 this weekend, and maybe some other games like Settlers of Catan, or Lords of Waterdeep
King’s Forge
I played Thunderstone Advance: Tower of Ruin and Run, Fight or Die, both of which were new to me. Thunderstone was especially impressive.
Darkest Night and Seasons.
I got in a game of Among the Stars with my wife and two games of 10 Days In the USA with my 7 yo. I enjoy spending time with my family.

I just got my copy of Mage Knight at last and i’ll give it my first try..
Just the two of use this weekend, so probably Dead of Winter and some lighter fare like Splendor and Takenoko.
Definitely getting a couple of games of Fortune and Glory in this weekend. Also hoping to play a few games of DungeonQuest as well.
Robinson Crusoe, Terra Mystica, Le Havre & Castles of Burgundy.

Daybreak is the new ONUW, now without villagers 🙂
Fully mixable with the original. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

I’d like if that game could be on this site
