We will be spending the weekend in The Undercity. We’ll get as far as we can through the 7-scenario campaign then pick up the remainder next weekend. It’s a pretty heavy game, so I doubt we’ll be getting to anything else!

Nice trip with the family to southern Bavaria. We spent time with the Castles of Mad King Ludwig… And then played the game, Castles of Mad King Ludwig! Also brought my assortment of travel games so we got some Why First and Dice Bihnanza in as well. But the big game was Castles.

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians. A few people playing Roll For The Galaxy, myself included. I also squeezed in a game of Istanbul and Sushi Go!
In addition to Friday’s plays, yesterday played Escape: Curse of the Temple (3x), Roll for the Galaxy, Return of the Heroes & Pandemic.
Not sure if we’re getting together today.
A few runs of LotR:LCG of course. Having gone through the Black Riders it will soon be time to tackle the darkening of the road and head out of Rivendell.
With my recent addiction to 18xx that journey went to Isle of Wight this time and 1860 which is a beast of its own kind. 3 players 4,5 hours resulting in a comfortable win that took me slightly by surprise.
Busy weekend, but still getting in a few games of Spirit Island.
The wife and I made a Fall trip to Cincinnati this weekend, and we brought Pandemic, Love Letter, and Hanabi. The weather and sights are great, but we did make some time for games this evening.
New Doomtown set in, so building fun decks from those cards. Played some Machi Koro, and picked up Smash Up: Munchkin so might try for a game or two of that.
Thanksgiving weekend and just played Dixit with my wee ones. First time they played it and they caught on very quickly.
Will play Resistance, Carcassonne, and hopefully Lords of Waterdeep with family. Much safer than talking about the Canadian general election.
Flip City has already been played. With visiting family, I hope to get Bang: The Dice Game.
A happy Canadian Thanksgiving from The Displaced and a joyous #NYCC to others.
Tonight is Test Drive Night so we will be putting some new acquisitions through the paces. On deck:
Red Dragon Inn 5 (just arrived and moved to the top of the list)
Catacombs:New Edition
Raid & Trade
and finishing with Steampunk Rally (which is new and already played – but we just like it)
Played some Carcassonne with Traders & Builders and Phantom expansions. Not sure yet what we’ll play tomorrow.
This weekend so far we played Francis Drake, 7 Wonders w/ all the expansions, Roll for the Galaxy, Kingsburg w/ To Forge A Realm expansion and a couple of MtG plays. Not sure what we’ll play tonight.
Got friends coming over to play Friday night, I really want to play Machi Koro with the Harbour Expansion, as I haven’t played it since buying it. Also, hoping to get some Cinque Terre and my first game of Roll for the Galaxy in.
Loving the 1910 expansion to ticket to ride, changes the game and makes it completely better. Will be playing it this evening again.
