I also played a round of Wits and Wagers Family Edition and it was funny how one person always asked for more details and another was checking the facts afterwards.
This weekend (which was not last weekend) I will be trying out a bunch of games at GenCon. Looking forward to picking up some of the following: Sentinels of the Multiverse (our group has two copies but is geographically spread out; there are none on the north side of town), Smash Up: The Obligatory Cthulhu Set, any new content for 7 Wonders, Trains, and many potential others!
I’m actually considering blocking time to sit in on the Games Auction’s board games day, given the really excellent material that has made it to market over the past several years.
First City of Remnants game played this weekend! My wife and I enjoyed it. Longer than expected, but very much looking forward to playing with 3 or 4 players.
Got to get some packs of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom from WDW and man, what a perfect gateway card game for children!! I’m so excited to teach my kids the game!
Taught myself Jaipur, Le Havre: Inland Port and Gloom. Tried to teach my girlfriend LOTR: The Card Game, but was only moderately successful. No playing of games then, I suppose, just learned a few!
gonna have a game night at a friends so we’ll be playing Red Dragon Inn one of our favorites. My fiance wants to play some Mice and Mystics. I’ll probably be bringing me copy of various games, including King of Tokyo and its expansion.
Forbidden Desert FTW! Excellent coop game – like it better than Forbidden Island. Great mechanic! Oh, we’ll give Dungeon Roll, It Happens, Keyflower, Dominion, Road to Canterbury, and Viticulture a try, too. 🙂

Just realized it’s a lot harder to get 10 random people out to play Avalon… maybe one day.
Also just bought Urbania and Avalon, hope I can get them out.

@Peter Unfortunately we won’t be able to make it to Gen Con this year.
Got the opportunity to have family over and play several games of Necromunda. Joy!
Is there going to be a BoardGaming.com presence at GenCon 2013?

Went on a trip and ended up bringing King of Tokyo and Wits and Wager.
Gears of War: The Board Game and MTG.
Sadly, nothing to report this weekend! D-Day Dice looks good though…

Lots of the LotR LCG. Also played Zpocalypse and Cavemen: The Quest for Fire.
Cinque Terre, Lords of Waterdeep, Dungeon Roll, Defenders of the Realm and a few others.

New to my group is Star Wars X-wing Miniatures and it’s a hit with everyone. I stocked up on all the expansion ships so Sunday will be a mess!
It was a six player game of Sentinels of the Multiverse in which six heroes managed to take down Baron Blade in his second incarnation.
Trains!
