We just got a copy of City of Remnants by Plaid Hat Games in the mail. Had our first play-through last night and absolutely loved it! We’re working on a review for it, so it will be dominating our game nights for the next bit 🙂
What are you playing this weekend?
We got in our Agents of SMERSH, Caylus and Salmon Run!
Just got two new factions for Summoner Wars: the Fallen Kingdom and the Filth, can’t wait to try them out!
Going to try the ever changing game one of my friends has been developing for years.
Trying out the Lurker at the Threshold expansion for Arkham Horror. That ought to take up most of Saturday.
I’ll be completing some more components for my game Burning Suns, hopefully that will be accompanied by a play test 🙂 That’s usually how I want my weekend to go when in game mood..
This weekend my wife and I will be playing Tikal, but I need to brush up on the rules. I remember the last time we played this game, everyone had fun.
Try and convince the wife to play some Dungeon Command, maybe I can use this as a gateway into getting her to play some real D&D one day.
DC comics DBG of course!!
I will be playing Small World and Lords of Waterdeep tonight with my girlfriend and her sister. Two awesome games that recently entered my collection. They haven’t played them yet, so it’ll be interesting to see the reception. Tomorrow two new games are coming through the mail: King of Tokyo and Netrunner. I’m hoping to get a chance to play both of them this weekend. Happy gaming everyone! 🙂
Game Day with friends! Many are going to be casual players, so I’m bringing along a lot of quick filler games and some lighter games. Love Letter, Flash Point, Fluxx, Citadels, Great Heartland Hauling Co. May even try to break out a game of the Resistance.
My daughter is currently going through a real gaming phase, which is great, and means we’ll almost certainly get through a game or three over the weekend. I have no idea what she’ll choose, but Love Letter is a pretty safe bet as she’s really getting into that at the moment. No complaints from me on that front.
Pathfinder tonight, maybe some San Juan and Ticket to Ride tomorrow.
4E D&D this saturday!!! It seems like the only game I have time to play these days, but I’m excited none-the-less!!
Survive! has been requested for Wednesday. We played Pandemic last week, and I’m thinking about trying out the bio-terrorist rules this week…
FLGS Game night tonight. Hoping to get in a play of Agents of SMERSH and Caylus. Maybe Fleet and/or Salmon Run as well.
Having people over tomorrow and Sunday for birthday celebrations. Invasion from Outer Space and Betrayal at House on the Hill are prime contenders for play, along with Zombicide, Zpocalypse *cross fingers*, and Smash Up. Monsters, aliens, and zombies, oh my!
Flash Point, Sentinels of the Multiverse, and Garden Dice will also likely make an appearance at some point, too.
On Sunday, I will also be playing in one of the “Dungeon Crawl Classics” (DCC) games my friend is running.
I’m going to try and get Clash of Cultures to the table today. I’m sure the family will play some Sentinels of the Multiverse and maybe some Pandemic. I’d like to play Relic again, but it might be a hard sell. My oldest boy might like it. I’m thinking he’s ready for Lord of the Rings LCG too. My youngest wants to play Munchkin.
Probably some Android Netrunner solo (me playing both sides to learn the game…not thrilling) and if I can interest the wife, tokaido or takenoko (the theme helps to interest her)
Planning on going to FOPcon in Huber Heights, OH tomorrow. I know they will be playing Mayfair games. May also get in some Marvel Legendary, Pandemic and Sentinels of the Multiverse.
City of Remnants looks cool, can’t wait to give it a go. I’ll probably be playing some Resistance this weekend with the local board game group!
