We just got a copy of City of Remnants by Plaid Hat Games in the mail. Had our first play-through last night and absolutely loved it! We’re working on a review for it, so it will be dominating our game nights for the next bit 🙂

I’m usually playing with at least one couple that are newer to gaming in general. We’ve started to introduce them to euro games, and at the moment they’re far more prone to AP in any situation with more than two choices.
If you have any tips to help us push them out of AP (without adding a timer or another stress-inducing method), please do let me know. My wife and I thank you in advance!

We had a marathon. Started with Ascention, went on to Chaos in the Old World, Cyclades, Chicken Ceaser, then topped it off with two more rounds of Chaos in the Old World. Good day.

Played Stone Age (with its Style is the Goal expansion) Saturday.
Must have played like 10 games of sentinels of the multiverse this week. Thank God for the Sentinels Sidekick iOS app and it’s randomizer,otherwise Unity would be in every game.
We did get in a game of Kings of Air and Steam this weekend, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Tasty Minstrels puts out some very tasty games. The components to KoAaS are some of the best I’ve seen. Kudos! I look forward to playing it again soon. (Any game with Zeppelin minis is going to get some play around my dojo.)

Got in games of Police Precinct and Marvel Legendary. Also got Kickstarter Guilds of Cadwallon in the mail and hoping to try it out soon.
I’ve played Keyflower, Lords of Waterdeep, Heroclix, Tokaido, Ascension(the new Expansion, and The Hobbit Card Game. Today I will probably try to play Salmon Run and Fantastiqua.
My son and I played A Touch of Evil with The Coast expansion yesterday. For my recent birthday, I received Blood Bowl: Team Manager, and I hope to play it today. I also received Space Empires: 4X, but it will take a bit before I’m ready for that one.
Played a three-man Magic: The Gathering Winston Draft on Friday night. Each of us put in two packs of Return to Ravnica and two packs of Gatecrash. Loads of fun.
Got to play a few of my favorite games. Power Grid (2 maps), Caylus, and 7 Wonders.
Also, my friends convinced me that I really DO want to play the same games all the time. Time to get a few new games.

Played Lord of Waterdeep last night and loved it!!!! Played it with 3 and can’t wait for a 5 player game, oh the back stabbing .
Jungle Speed has been very hot on the table lately with Dixit Journey falling closely behind. Hopefully later tonight we can get something different playing. Maybe some Vegas Showdown or the Resistance.
