Yes! More new explorables this week!
Any new explorables this week?
I definitely need to look into getting my hands on a copy of Discworld: Ankh-Morpork. The Watch books are some of my favourites in the series, so being able to play a game set in that area of Discworld just really makes me excited.
Puerto Rico is the game that made me an addict. I’d dabbled before, but PR was a hardcore addiction that led to Agricola and Caylus and on and on.
Discworld:Ankh-Morpork is a nice worker placement game with great art. It’s a lighter weight game that you can play with newbies… similar weight to Stone Age but easier to grasp IMO.
Too much to try out, need a store of my own!
Puerto Rico is such a great game. The anniversary edition has by far the most impressive components i know (beside of miniature games ofc).
@Lozmoid – Good to know, I’ll have to put it on my Christmas list!
I’ve played Discworld:Ankh-Morpork although I don’t own it. It is excellent, well balanced and highly addictive.
Pueto Rico is still a game that I did not find a person that I have to play (and I listened very well to respect this game).
This week’s explorables are a good reminder to me that I need to play Puerto Rico on my iPad. And I would have passed by Discworld if not for having to take a look at it – looks great too!
I’ve also heard some good things about the Discworld game, but assumed I needed to have read the books in order to get real satisfaction out of it. Good to read that isn’t required.
Been looking at Discworld:Ankh-Morpork for a while now, looks like a great game.
