Taught Guildhall to my 70-year old mother. She took to it pretty well, and only lost by inches (one more turn, and she beats me instead of vice versa).
We had a girl’s night in so I and four of my friends got together and played Sentinels of the Multiverse. I also ordered Terra Mystica and some new WoW starter decks so that’s quite exciting.
So far I played the New maps for Star Trek Catan-Brutal but fun, Salmon Run, Skullport Expansion for Lords of Waterdeep and 1 other game. I hope to play Abbadon or The Duje later roday.
I am visiting family in GA and got to teach my two neices and their mother Martian Dice and DC Comics DBG! They loved them both and the neices are 9 & 11 years old.
Bought and played the new Relic Runners. An interesting and not so very hard a game. Definitely one of the games to use on those unsuspecting first time board-gamers to lure them in 🙂 Also will be trying Cyclades tonight.
I’ve been playing with my boys a lot this weekend. We are currently addicted to Castle Panic, because it works great with a range of ages. My six year old gets a kick out of this game, and my eleven year old likes it too. There aren’t many games I can get my wife to sit down and play anytime, but she seems to enjoy it as well. This game is not my favorite, but it really hits the sweet spot as a family game. I highly recommend this to any family or group with a range of ages. It’s easier than Forbidden Island, but still quite enjoyable.
Just helped eradicating illness in Pandemic. Yesterday we got totally burned in the game! 😛 We used the expansion, On the brink. Now we just sat down for a game of Yggdrasil. Co-op, is the game! 😀
I hope to play some Sentinels of the Multiverse, but I have a birthday party for a 3 year old to go to, so I’ll probably have to settle for poker. You know those three year olds – total poker hounds.
I won’t have any long spans of available time this weekend, so Sentinels by forum it is. I might try out Pandemic: In the Lab if I get a minute, but I don’t think that’s likely.
Fall Gaming Hoopla this weekend! On the itinerary is Open Rails Origins, Goldbrau, Gonzaga, First Train to Nuremberg, Mission: Red Planet, BSG Express, Mississippi Queen, and The Speicherstadt! (whew!)
Mage Knight Board Game … I have an extreme curiosity to play this game since I heard many compliments him.
Solo game of Mage Knight Board Game. Trying to learn the full game rules before unleashing on the play group…
I got in two games of the Adventurers and Smash Up. So it was a good weekend.

Played Jamaica and DC Comics on Friday. Both with 4 players.
MTG.

Got in a game each of Lords of Waterdeep and Story War yesterday, hopefully fit in another round of LoW before the weekend is out.

No proper games this weekend, other than playing with my son.
Gonna have a pirate weekend. Libertalia, Pirates pocketmodel game, and Merchants and Marauders if it ever shows up.
Ticket to Ride for the main course, probably start with some Dungeon Roll to warm everyone.
