– Rampage (weird dexterity based game, pretty funny but too expensive for what it is in my mind, decent components beside the incredibly ugly visual covers – what is it in english btw?)
– Cappucino (great! awesome game with a lot of pretty cups, still i won’t pay 30 Euro for a 10 minutes lasting joy)
– Bloodbound (well designed intrigue game, i wonder why to play this when you’ve got a number of Players allowing to play werewolves)
– Tash-Kalar (it did’nt get me at all, even with a good idea and serious 4 player Support I’d stick to Summoner Wars)
– Steam Park (incredibly stunning components! I do really wish I’d like the game, it’s visuals are so gorgeous but… I just don’t. Rolling the dice simultaneously is fun but then everyone is telling each other how cool his solitaire actions are. Not my type of gameplay, you should try it maybe)
– Glass Road (good, simply good, i dislike the art but the gameplay is great. Not a brain burner but still a nice strategy game with pretty cool ressource wheels)
– Concept (nice idea, I’d wait for Concept 2.0, this one is ok but some pictures are not as intuitive as I’d expect)
– Mascarade (hmm… it is fun, but it is random as well, still very entertaining for a Group having at least 6 players)
– Tokaido (amazing, so relaxing and enjoyable and stunning visuals, I do need this game for sure, not for playing every time but for just having a good time)
Usual stuff-Heroclix, Lords of Waterdeep, Salmon Run. I’m headed to BGGCon in November and can’t wait to play the New Essen releases. I’m making my list and checking it twice. 🙂
After a bad month of practically no time for gaming, was able to stop in for our group’s “Extra Life” fund-raiser. Played several games of Crokinole, Loopin’ Louie, and tried out a new one called Tapple. With a bunch of kickstarter games finally arriving, I hope November is a much more productive gaming month.
Played a lot of the DC Deckbuilding Game and Legendary, with the new FF expansion. Fighting against Galactus was a little frustrating when he destroyed 80% of the city with Master Strikes in the first 3 total circuits of the table. “We shall fight them in the sewers, we shall… well, I guess we’re just fighting them in the sewers.”
Strangely, perhaps, most of the things I’d played this weekend are part of the DB here: 7 Wonders (with Leaders and Cities, and using the fan-based Lost Wonders expansion); High Frontier (with both the first expansion and the Colonization expansion); and a couple games of Through the Ages.
I’ve played a few rounds of Dungeon Roll this weekend. Oh, and I also played Monopoly Millionaire with the kids – I got my *** handed to me by a 6 year old girl that can’t read.
Ditto on the Pathfinder Adventure Card game. Almost halfway through Burnt Offerings. Still loving the game so far. Not loving some of my die rolls so much.
Celebrating Halloween by hosting a special gaming day! Will be playing Arkham Horror, Fury of Dracula, Zombies!!!, Betrayal at House on the Hill and anything that matches a guest’s costume!
Nothing much this weekend, unfortunately. Having a mini-con in 2 weeks from Thursday to Sunday which I’m really looking forward to. Wonder how many plays I’ll be able to pull off….
No gaming session planned, but I just got my copy of Firefly so I’ll be discovering it over the weekend. Oh, I also got the latest expansion for Legendary, the Fantastic Four deck, so I might at least do a solo game (or two…) to try it out. I’m a big fan of the Silver Surfer.
Played at Spiel 2013 in Essen:

This weekend was pretty **** good to play many board games, here’s what I played:
– Magic the Gathering;
– Aqua Romana;
– Fairy Tale;
– Bushido: Der Weg des Kriegers, and
– Vampire: Prince of the City.
It really was very busy in my board gaming weekend!

I was hoping to play more but got in The Adventurers Temple of Chac and DC Deck Builder. Drinking and Eating got in the way.
I got a game each of Lords of Waterdeep and Jamaica in. Looking to get hold of a copy of Suburbia this week.
Got the Thunderstone Advance: Starter Set on the weekend and got in a play – fantastic game! Looking forward to adding to the collection…
Played a bit of 7 Wonders and Carcasonne, but mostly helped my wife make my son’s Link Halloween costume. Looks sweet, and we’re almost done.

No gaming this weekend neither. But you just wait! In two weeks time I will attend a gathering, where I get to play a whole bunch of games! 😀
Ditto on the Pathfinder Adventure Card game. Almost halfway through Burnt Offerings. Still loving the game so far. Not loving some of my die rolls so much.
Hoping to more Pathfinder: Adventure Card Game. I have to finish out “Burnt Offerings” before the next adventure pack arrives.

Thinking of busting out Trains for family game night.
It is a Halloween themed weekend. So we are playing matching theme games and games to match the costume we wear.
In San Diego for work so I only brought small games that fit in luggage. Love Letter, anyone?
