The Boy was sick earlier in the week and decided to gift it to me at the end of it, making for a rather ‘BLEH’ weekend.
Played some quickie Pixel Tactics and a heart-and-head not into it round of Summoner Wars. The lovely looking Cross Hares that arrived on Friday went fondled, sorted, but unplayed due to feeling icky.
The coming weekend is Birthday Weekend…so I must draw up my list of playables.
We played a couple games I got for my birthday: Smash Up and Loot. I’m hoping to get in at least one game of King of Tokyo yet before the week gets in gear.
I got in one game of Seasons and my first ever game of Sentinels of the Multiverse! Three of us were playing (Bunker, Wraith and Ra) against Baron Blade. Wraith got taken out shortly after Blade donned his robot suit.
Soon, Ra and Bunker were on the ropes (two HP each! Yikes!) with two energy barriers protecting Blade. Disaster struck! Blade pummeled Ra down… giving Ra and Wraith, who both went before Bunker, the chance to tear the energy barriers away! With the villain stripped of his defenses, Bunker unleashed a massively charged Omni-Cannon, defeating Blade with the help of his friends!
Not much gaming this weekend. A few games of Seasons at BGA but gearing up for next weekends local convention starting Thursday. Probably getting in some gaming Tuesday and Wednesday as well with my girlfriend and kids being away the entire week.
Weekend draws to a close and sadly no tabletop gaming, but I did get to play some Disney Infinity with the squirts, and they had a ball. All good! Also got to organize some deck building boxes for a couple of my older ccgs.
The wife and I just played Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne. I still hope to end the weekend with our learning-to-play game of Eldritch Horror but that might not happen.
So far this weekend I’ve gotten in a session of Pathfinder (Friday night), a game of Magic, and a game of Quilt Show. We’ll see what Sunday brings, gaming-wise.
À friend invited med and 4 others for Betrayal on the house on the hill. Really looking forward to try it! Bringing some fillers like Bang the dice game and love letter.
We are going to break out Stone Age for our first play. Will follow up with Pandemic the Cure and maybe some Galaxy Trucker if time permits.
no games at all last weekend…I will double the pleasure next weekend
Playing King if New York, Palaces of Carrara, Splendor and Brugge!
@Jay Atkinson

Nothing spectacular this weekend, because of being out of town. The kids and I did get a round of “Golf” in which is played with a deck of cards.
