What are you playing this weekend? (May 1)

We just got in our first winning game of Xenoshyft Onslaught last night so that got the early weekend off to a great start! Not sure exactly what we’ll play this weekend, but I’d be very happy to see Forgotten King and Pagoda make it to the table.

What are you playing this weekend?

If I can get my wife (which isn’t too hard) we will be playing some Terra Mystica, Eldritch horror, and maybe some imperial settlers! Gonna be Good.

@HarryCallaghan79 – I love Pathfinder RotR. I just bought all the expansion packs this week and am hoping to play a few scenarios. I would definitely recommend it. Our opinions on games may differ though after reading your review of Betrayal at House on the Hill. Your review was hilarious and bang on. I guess some of the issues with the game just didn’t bother me as much. Those sliders are terrible though.

I’m going to try and squeeze in a few games other games this weekend depending on how many other friends are interested. Maybe Shadows over Camelot, Munchkin and/or Smash Up! I’ve got some other family obligations this weekend and I’ve have to get out there and see Avengers: Age of Ultron!

I’m having Paladin over for a game of Zombicide tonight. He and I both received our copies of Lanterns: The Harvest Festival this week, so maybe we’ll get to fight to the decorative, honorable death!

@Lyzzie – Hope you have a blast with Gravwell! It’s a solid game. Prepare for all sorts of space shenanigans.

I just picked up the game Akrotiri so hopefully that. Should be some good 2-player fun!

I just picked up a copy of Gravwell at B&N clearance sale for $7.80. Good deal, no? So, I know I’ll be playing that, as well as my usual Mice and Mystics. However, on Sunday, I might just nix the house chores and play Arkham Horror all day. The last time I played AH it took me 6 hours! But 6 hours of AH sure beats 2 hours of chores!

@ Harry

7 Wonders is a great game, there is no mystery why it is placed #1 on BGG for family games. As far as good portable 2 player games: Jaipur, Star Realms, or Love Letter would be my suggestion.

Tonight I am planning Cosmic Encounters for the shear madness of it all. If my wife gets her way though, it will probably be Settlers of Catan, either way it will be a good night.
I might also be buying Pathfinder, Rise of the Runelords or 7 wonders. Any body have any thoughts on these two games?
Also, I am going away on holidays in a couple of months. Anybody have any good suggestions for easy-to-travel games or great two player games?
