We didn’t have very much gaming this weekend as it turned out, but I am very pleased that I got to play El Grande for the first time in far too many years. We also played a bit of our newly acquired Hive, which was fun.
Already started the weekend with a couple 2 player games of Runebound. Headed out for a game night shortly, Carcasonne, Small World, and Stone Age are all on the agenda.
I played Lord of the Rings LCG with my wife for a few hours tonight and that was really fun. Hopefully will be able to get in a game of Lords of Waterdeep or Discworld: Ankh Morpork tomorrow, but my brother in law is visiting and he really likes Munchkin so we probably will end up playing that.
Played a couple rounds of Kids of Carcassonne with the kids. Hopefully, I can break out some like 7 Wonders or Civilization. I just got my copy Civilization in this week after a great deal on an auction. Looking forward to break it out soon.
I am excited for MAGE KNIGHT SUNDAY…lol. Been a few weeks and I’ve been dying to play this again. Looks like only a 2 player game this time, but not sure which scenario we are going to play yet.
Otherwise, been playing the new Marvel Super Hero Squad Online card game with my daughter (the physical version). We picked up 3 starters (Hulk, Wolverine, Iron Man) and about 7 boosters. Really enjoying that one. Good introduction to deckbuilding and combos, with a bit of luck with blocking to help even the odds out a bit for all. Interesting game, it’s my daughters fave card game currently. We also might play Wiz War, Quarriors, and/or Wrath of Ashardalon (I hope not Ashardalon…lol)
EDIT: I’m also torn on buying Dungeon Twister on PS3. I’ve never played the game, probably wouldn’t have much of a chance to play the physical version, so I’ve been contemplating the PSN release. If they could implement some way of local multiplayer I’d bite for sure.
It’s not so hot this side of the Atlantic — too much rain to let the temperature get up for long!
With Infiltration seeming to be a bit of a theme around here, I’ll add that we may get a game of that in this weekend. I’ve been toying with introducing my daughter to El Grande too, so maybe this weekend will be the time to do that…
Tonight I will be heading over the the game store for a few hours of gaming. Hopefully I will get in some games that I have never played, but you never know what will be on the table. I may also pick up something new.
I plan on playing some games with my three year old daughter. On tap will be Zombie Dice, Cthulu Dice and Gulo Gulo after a trip to the comic store to get her a comic book. I will, however, surely be roped into a run of Candy Land. Can’t have everything!
I set up a Heroscape map yeserday to start testing armies for Gen Con, so I hope to play a few games of that with my son. Also hoping to try another round of Kill Doctor Lucky, and potentially Infiltration. We’ll see….

No cardboard for me this weekend. I’ll probably spend some time with Summoner Wars on iOS. It looks like it will be fun.

It looks like I will be running Ora & Labora, Ninjato and Lords of Waterdeep and Ascension today.
Hoping to play some more eclipse this weekend!
My group sucks, they are not around.
