Just returned from the WBC (World Boardgaming Championships) in Seven Springs, PA. Played a ton of stuff over the past week, including:
7 Wonders (2x) Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage Wellington (4x) Egizia (2x) Sword of Rome (2x) Napoleonic Wars (3x) Roll for the Galaxy (2x) Here I Stand (3x) Monsters Menace America Frederick’s Gamble: 7 Years War (Playtested) Gallerist Washington’s War
Had an awesome time! Would love to attend next year.
I was shocked … my son pulled out Flash Point: Fire & Rescue on Saturday. The building burnt down and we lost, but we still had fun. I’ll have to get some more maps/boards for this game.
Only played one game of Takenoko with the Takenoko: Chibis expansion. Played some online games of Seasons and a lot of Ticket to Ride on my iPad. All this talk about the new Ninentendo system coming out made me nostalgic, so I dug out my Super Nintendo last night and played some Tetris and Mario. Good times!
Not as many games yesterday as normal as I played one of my new KS- Scythe. Side note: IT CAME IN 1 MONTH EARLY FROM SCHEDULED SHIP DATE. As you may no a KS only 1-2 months later than the scheduled shipping date is considered on time. It is heavy game both in physical weight and play but I loved it.
I love going back and catching up on what people are playing and how they group what games they play. It gives me so many ideas for my group!!
Last weekend our group played Dead of Winter, Eldritch Horror, and a couple games of Sentinels of the Multiverse.
Epic Game Day this weekend, will post a quiz when the weekend updates resume…
I’m hoping to get dead of winter this weekend and get a few games in.

Too hot to do much of anything – so I stayed in the AC and played the ‘impossible’ weekly one-shot on the Sentinels Digital Dojo
Took about 30 tries and resets but I finally gave Kingpin…I mean…The Chairman some comeuppance.
It’s a Tiny Epic Galaxies weekend for me!
I haven’t played it before so I’m excited to see if it lives up to reviews I’ve read.
Tsuro of the seas, love letter, and forbidden desert. Fun times!
We finished up the Shadows of Mirkwood campaign for Lord of the Rings LCG, then played a little Food Fight. Going to play Ghostbusters next week!
