We played Coup and Smash Up last night and had a lot of fun. This weekend I’m going to take an upcoming game for a spin called Game Developerz. Then if there’s time for more, I’ve been wanting to try the Enchanted Kingdoms expansion for Seasons.
What are you playing this weekend?
I got to introduce some friends to Coup. Then I picked up Takenoko, which is quickly proving to be a favorite!
Funeral this weekend, but ended up playing some friendly games with extended family afterward including The Phantom Society, Rise of Augustus, and then joined friends on Sunday for a huge game of Eclipse using the new plastic ships (as Planta, my pieces punished anyone who touched them – including me!). Unsure if the Eclipse ship expansion is worth the $, but they are pretty!
We ended up playing Morphology and had a blast – who would have thought a simple party game would be that funny?
Yesterday, on Sunday we played Arkham Horror, one of my favorite games.
Play with all expansions with 6 players and it was a very good game (had only two deaths but that’s part of the game for those who know)
Face as Ancient One Hastur and having as The Dunwich Horror Herald.
But like most of the group was new in this game, we also use for our support as Hypnos Guardian and The Institution as Bureau of Investigations.
Excellent game and after a bit of effort and luck won the game sealing 6 gates.
Hastur, Hastur, Hastur …
A couple games of 7 Wonders and a great game of Munchkin! Not too shabby.
Thank you very much, @X-Hawk, @AccountDeletion and @melpomene for the birthday wishes 😀
So today turned out to be a fantastic day, and of course as with most things in my life, gaming was some how involved. I was able to finally play Fortune and Glory and I am already enamored with it. Its a game I can’t wait to get back to the table, I may even solo it on my next day off or just demo it at work for my own sake. I also squeezed in a game of A Touch of Evil and then in the evening a few rounds of Citadels at the pub with some great friends and strangers a like. Hope everyone else had a fantastic weekend!
We played Roll Through the Ages, Castle Panic + expansion and Dungeon Petz. No Terra Mystica unfortunately…
Playing summoner wars and sentinels of the universe.
This weekend was our monthly game night and we got to play Tsuro, Shadow Hunters, Shadows over Camelot (and actually won!) and Cthulhu Gloom. Game nights are always fun, but some of my favourite games are 4 player max and they never hit the table. I clearly need more 7-8 player games!
Played my new love child Runebound and a solo game of my birthday gift Fortune and Glory. Happy times! 🙂
I have played Small World with my girlfriend on the Ferry from Copenhagen to Oslo! Poor girl got seasick but she beated me four out of six games anyway 😉
Introducing some friends to Co-op boardgaming tonight. Some Pandemic and than Forbidden Desert, good times!
Not playing, making.
I’m participating at the 2014 Global Game Jam:
http://www.globalgamejam.org/
My site is at UMBC in Baltimore, MD and my team is working on a game called Silent Trust.
I’ll be rolling some dice at this Tuesday’s Brews and Board Games event (also in Baltimore), but not sure what I’ll be playing yet. But after spending most of 48 hours developing a game from the ground up, I’ll need to blow off some steam.
I have only played a music quiz at a party. My team won. No prize per se, but honor, I guess… 😛 Maybe I`ll get in some Playstation tomorrow.
I’m going to set up for A Touch of Evil again this weekend, since most of my games have preceded me for the upcoming trip home.
Happy birthday Andross; may the dice roll be in your favor!
We’re heading out shortly to make the drive to LA for the NHL game at Dodger Stadium so probably not much playing today. I am taking Monty Python Fluxx along just in case! Oohh…I just thought, maybe one of the Timeline series would be a good guessing game for the car!
Hopefully tomorrow will include some sleep deprived game time!
Played two games of Gubs and two games of Uno with the family while waiting in the airport. Now we’re home, and I hope to get in a game of Seasons and possibly the Pathfinder adventure Card Game
Lots of people showing up for a BBQ & Board Game party today. We’ve got pulled pork, mac & cheese, and chili and a buncha way-too-many-player games lined up:
Seven Wonders, Small World, Scalawag!, and King of Tokyo are at the top of the To-Play list.
Roll Through the Ages, Ticket to Ride and Dominion. And my quest to bring Terra Mystica to the table will continue…
Hoping to get a little Pathfinder card game in this weekend, or LOTR LCG. Got to play Fortress America the other night. Now I remember why I don’t really enjoy wargames that much. 🙂
